Wellington 2018 is a wrap

We would like to say a big thank you to our clients, sponsors, and owners for being a part of our journey this year in Wellington. We had a great season and already look forward to returning in 2019. With the increase in shows available to us, specifically Deeridge, we are able to compete our horses at the venue that suits them best and gives them the opportunity to improve.

Last fall we had 2 new 7 year old’s join our team, Belle du Courtil and Louisana de Moortelshoeve. They made their debut with Lauren Crooks this winter competing both at WEF and Deeridge. Both horses jumped beautiful clean rounds in the 7 year old divisions and the season finished up with Belle du Courtil placing 4th in the $25,000 Young Horse Championship. We also acquired the Grand Prix horse Cantino 9 for James Brennan. Cantino is a scopey horse that has the ability to jump any class in North America. James took him a week after we got him to a show at Deeridge and was double clean in the Grand Prix that weekend.

We would like to congratulate the new owners of the 3 superstar FEI horses we sold this year: Columbcille de Reve (2008 Irish Sport Horse Mare) to Wembley Farm, Valentino d’Elte (2009 Selle Francais Gelding) to Vanessa Manix, and finally Gaston Van’t Steentje to the Gottwald family. We wish all of these new horse and rider combinations the best of luck in the future!

Finally, a big congratulations is due to our clients on their successful tour! Paris McCaw dominated the Adult Equitiation division by receiving Champion 5 of 6 weeks she showed and getting the Circuit Champion honors! She also had a plethora of clear rounds on Firenze in the Adult Jumper division. Ella McCaw finished the season by jumping her first 1.20m aboard Andrina and even better she won the class! She also had consistent, beautiful trips on her equitation mount Advance. Gwen McCaw acquired 2 new fantastic mounts - Larineta and Hey Joe. Both horses have extensive careers through the 1.40m and we are very excited for their progress.
